It can very intimidating for a new, female gun-owner to step inside a classroom full of men. The USCCA recognized this dilemma and answered the call by creating a program specifically for women. Although the curriculum is the same, with the addition of female-specific carry and conceal options, the primary purpose is to place like-minded students together in an environment where they feel comfortable. 2020-21 saw a significant increase in the number of new, female gun owners.
